dude, i don’t know what’s going on with this… it’s like i had a dream and it just died.
but it didn’t just die, you know?
no… no my friends. it was murdered by the society of corporate greed in which we live!!
ok, whatever, i got lazy, sue me. but i have an idea…
first — a limerick:
there once was a girl who loved ebay
she visited there ever-yday
she clicked and she bid
(trust me, she did)
and ran down the internet freeway.
cut me some slack folks!!! it’s not easy to be an aspiring elaureate, believe you me. believe you me.
ok, so the other day i woke up and stumbled online… i opened up my browser to Yahoo! and saw the following headline:
and for a split second i had this urge to check the link to see if i was on the list. crazy, i know, but it’s true. it’s kind of like when you’re in a store or are at someone else’s house and the phone rings — for a split second, you wonder who’s calling you. because it’s always about you we’re all just pavlov’s dogs in the end, i guess.
anyway, i checked the list, because even though i had a pretty good idea i wasn’t on it, i wasn’t sure if it was one of those “listen to win” kind of deals. turns out i’m not a new cardinal after all.
bummer.
