Ok, so I haven’t yet posted anything about my Christmas Vacation or even a New Year’s reflection. I will soon, I’m sure, but in the tradition of cranking up the holiday tunes right after Halloween, I say let’s barrel straight for Valentine’s Day! With that in mind, my good friend Jamelah and I did a little (evil) scheming and decided that it would be a good idea to host a Valentine’s Day Swap-a-Palooza. After all, my last event was so popular, why not, right? So here’s the rundown … if you’re interested, sign up by emailing me (or Jamelah at jamelah dot net). We’ll then assign you to a group of approximately four swappers. You’ll then create a handmade or hand-altered Valentine to send out to the other members of your group. What constitutes handmade? Hand altered? There are no hard and fast rules, but generally it should be something you create yourself, whether it’s a hand-drawn card, collage or papercraft — or — a postcard, etc. that you’ve embellished/altered to make it ultra-cool. A good guideline is — would you like to receive this in the mail? Exactly.
