I think I’ve updated this thing much more frequently than I actually have. I know I update it in my mind at least three times a day. Crazy Internets. Anyway … I would actually post something, but I’ve been super slammed with a big project at work over the last few weeks. You know, one of those that makes you feel like drowning in the crazy of it might feel nice, but then there are the barracudas of idiocy swarming just under the surface. Good times, good times. In lieu of posting anything meaningful just yet, I’ll just write up a list of things I really need to get around to writing about one of these days:

– going crazy at the Taco Bell and really wanting a Meximelt
– jerks on the Metro
– my love-hate relationship with Amtrak
– Rice-a-Roni
– retirement
– Valentine’s Day
– getting beat up by a 9-year old
– Girl Scout Cookies
– school pictures
– road rage
– American Idol
– nail polish
– turquoise
– Noel Coward movies
– the car wash
– Care Bears

You’ve been warned.

Gary Coleman

On February 8, 1968 Gary Coleman was born! That’s right — it’s the birthday of everyone’s favorite child star, fan accoster, former California gubernatorial candidate & Surreal Life inhabitant, Gary Coleman. The Gary.

Super Bowl Cookies, originally uploaded by caryn74.

Getting ready for the big game — my daughter and I made these cookies. Being from Indiana I’m definitely rooting for the Colts today, but we all were Bears fans back in the day as well, so it’s really a win-win situation. Two great teams, one great game … and some cookies. How can you argue with that?
