Nothing like a little meme action to get back into the swing of things here. Plus it’s perfect for back-to-school time. Of course this is Jamelah’s fault…

A. Attached or Single? Attached like a Siamese twin.

B. Best Friend? My husband. But I have a lot of really great, close friends that would tie for this spot, otherwise. Maybe I should pitch a reality show around that.

C. Cake or pie? Cake! I love pie, too, but unlike Jamelah, sometimes I do just get the craving for something cake-y.

D. Day of choice? Well I was born on a Thursday, which means I have far to go (apparently). But it’s also when The Office and 30 Rock are on, so let’s say Thursday. (See also, R.)

E. Essential item? Sharpies.

F. Favorite color? Um… it depends on what the color is going to be coloring, I think. I like light blue a lot. In theory. But not usually on things. I also like purple but I wouldn’t decorate a room with it.

G. Gummy bears or worms? Sour gummy worms. They are SO GOOD.

H. Hometown? B’dale … home of the Bulldogs!

I. Favorite indulgence? I really like the kimchi spicy ramen bowls. Which aren’t an indulgence price wise, but they are really, really bad for you. And me.

J. January or July? I’m all about July.

K. Kids? I have one daughter, three cool stepkids and two cats who think they are human children. Except they like to eat cat food and don’t enjoy playing video games.

L. Life isn’t complete without? Kentucky Fried Chicken

M. Marriage date? July 5. There’s still time to send gifts.

N. Number of brothers and sisters? I have an older brother who was simultaneously cool and maddening while we were growing up. Come to think of it, not much has changed… ha ha. Now he has three kids of his own. I think this means he really enjoyed having a sibling growing up and wanted to share that with his kids. I, on the other hand, have an only child. hahah ahem.

O. Oranges or Apples? Apples. Unless it’s flavoring something else and then oranges.

P. Phobias? I have an extreme fear of failure. And also of those weird alien-looking house centipedes, getting run over on the street, flying, olives, chickens. Don Johnson. The end of the world. Hags.

Q. Quotes? I love quotes, but here’s a recent favorite from today: “I love shredding”

R. Reasons to smile? Starting the weekend on Thursday night.

S. Season of choice? I really love different things about all the seasons… the crazy alien blossoming of spring, hazy summer evenings that feel like you are going to stay in that moment forever, that weird quiet when it snows for a really long time, but if I *have* to pick one, I’ll go with mid-to-late fall when it’s not too cold, but crisp, the leaves are still clinging on and there’s time to breathe and feel like it’s ok to prepare for hibernation.

Z. Zodiac sign? Cancer. Which is pretty accurate, but they could have come up with a better name for it, I think.
