• The Happiness Project: Enter into the Spirit of the Season. – I really enjoyed reading this piece on the different perspectives of "holiday spirit". Regardless of your religious affiliation or interest in the holidays, I'm not sure who can't enjoy peace and joy.
• Shiny Shiny: Would you read a book on your DS? Get 100 classic books.. if you must – I kind of want a DS — even though I probably have enough devices to keep me occupied already. Would I read a book on a DS? Maybe I would… in any case, I am really impressed with Nintendo's/other game manufacturers' smart angle in creating games and tools geared toward the adult set.
• National Day of Listening – Love this: StoryCorps is declaring November 28, 2008 the first annual National Day of Listening. Bring back the tradition of oral history and really *listen* to the stories of your friends and family. Even if they really did walk uphill both ways.
