Who knew such a simple little picture could end up in Flickr’s Explore pages? I shot this last month and finally got around to uploading. Although you can clearly tell this is a flower petal (can’t you?), I love the abstractness of it and the hypnotic contrast between the blur and the edge. It suggests a dream to me… perhaps that’s what dreams are, the juxtaposition of a blur and an edge.
